Hi! I'm Tammy!

I’m a senior studying computer science at UC Berkeley, based in the bay area.

About Me

Hi there! I'm Tammy, a senior majoring in computer science at UC Berkeley. I came into the school as a math major, but I soon discovered my passion for computer science here instead when I took the intro course to CS, called the Beauty and Joy of Computing. I fell in love with how software engineering could be used to create impactful tools and products while also being fun and challenging to implement. There’s always something new to learn, and that’s what excites me about computer science!

In my free time, I like to dance, play piano, bullet journal, and eat good food. Some of my interests also include K-pop (my favorite artists are Blackpink, Red Velvet, and Twice), 88rising, Marvel movies, and Animal Crossing!

I performed a data migration from Trac to Jira, two bug tracking systems, by writing a Python script involving the operating system, CSVs, and a REST API. I also developed an installer for the Teledyne LeCroy software program using the Qt Installer Framework.
